Happy Pi Day!
Happy Pi Day!
It's ironic that there's a figure holding a basket, like in a plentiful harvest, in a desert. The only thing left in the basket is sand now.
He looks like a fun guy. Reminds me of a character named Clive from a game called LittleBigPlanet, where his face is a writing pad with drawn faces.
Meeting new creatures in the weirdest of places :).
Yeah, the texture and the coffee color makes the whole work feel worn and soft.
Are those turnip-o-lanterns?
Thanks, I agree. It looks like a sheet of flash from the 50’s. And yeah!
Is the shirt some play on a french word?
It sure is!
You did a fairy great job :) . Really like the contrast of the background silhouettes of the trees with the foreground grass and the cute mushroom people. They look very cute.
The gradient in the upper part of the background could reach down further in the piece. I imagine that, despite all of the glowing flowers and fireflies, the forest would be really dark, and a darker gradient in the background could push that background/foreground contrast further.
I really like how the hatching on the pants give a sort of fabric texture and value to them.
Happy New Years :)
Thank you :)
Oddly enough, Kwampus seems like a springtime spirit rather than a Christmas one, mainly due to the colors. He even has an easter egg bag to kidnap children with.
Does it have a ring because the ring reminds it of something, like an old memory?
Yeah, it also collects the memories people have forgotten about.
