I thought the fern was a creature of some sort, like a forest spirit. It looks like it has eyes on its "head".

Good question. I'm not sure yet. I will have to experiment with a couple of new ways. i usually go different directions with the two but perhaps i'll make the fabric less weighty and flow more to give a sense of air flow. could help!
